The Apricot Centre is registered with the Care and Quality Commission (CQC) for regulated activities in East Anglia. We hold monthly clinics in East Anglia in which a psychiatrist can undertake a full assessment with follow-up reviews to monitor mental health difficulties and medication. If you choose to see one of our Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists you can be confident that you are seeing a fully qualified consultant Psychiatrist, with years of experience working with young people. Our psychiatrists have had rigorous checks, including extended DBS clearances and references.
Appointments are usually arranged on the weekend in one of our monthly clinics.
Initial Psychiatric Assessment - 45 minutes to one hour - You will receive your report within 2 weeks of your appointment for standard child and adolescent assessments. Assessment reports include diagnosis (where one is clear), medication prescription, and other forms of treatement ot therapeutic recommendations.
Medication Reviews or Follow-up Appointments - Approximately 30 minutes - You will receive a report witihin 2 weeks of your review. Reports include any changes to medication and other forms of treatment or therapeutic recommendations.
