Attachment & Trauma Interventions

Many of our therapists work from attachment and trauma informed therapeutic approaches, and have worked with young people who have been adopted or in foster care or residential children's homes. Attachment difficulties and traumas arising from experiences in a child's early years can lead to many emotional, social, and behavioural challenges which can become stronger as they develop and go through big life changes such as school, adolescence, and other transitions. We offer support to the young person, and it can be equally important to provide support to parent/carers and school teams, to provide the young person with every opportunity to succeed and engage.
